We are seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician II to become an integral part of our team! This position is located in FORT WORTH, TEXAS.
Job Summary:
The CNC Maintenance Technician II is responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and longevity of CNC machines through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. This role involves performing routine inspections, diagnosing mechanical and technical issues, and implementing solutions to prevent downtime.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Repair CNC Machinery, manual machines, and machining centers
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls
- Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, and software, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues
- Identify and replace parts as necessary
- Complete testing and make adjustments of parts as needed
- Complete planned and preventative procedures
- Work based on a sense of urgency with machine down conditions.
- Be able to clearly document all work in the maintenance management system.
Experience & Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Five (5) years experience in Repair and Maintenance of CNC machinery using a variety of hand tool and diagnostic equipment
- One (1) year minimum of experience in Lock out Tag out and Arc Flash safety
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and technical procedures
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak clearly and effectively with groups of customers or employees of organization
- One (1) year minimum of experience in basic plumbing
- Fully experienced with all basic hand tools and tool box
- Knowledge of CNC machine design and operation
- Ability to read part manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting guides.
- Must pass a drug test and background check
- Must have U.S. work authorization
